Hi Andy..............

Milk Thistle contains a lot of things like SILYMARIN and SILIBININ - who knows how they might interact with carnosine or indeed ALCOHOL [or other drugs]. The liver has a lot of work to do.

I'd stick to carnosine as nothing in Milk Thistle occurs naturally in the human body [they are xenobiotic compounds, i.e. foreign to the human body] and carnosine has been there for millions of years!

Cool Thanks

Thanks Pete and Prof. Steven Gallant (..and Anne) for your helpful advice - and it all makes sense why the Milk Thistle could affect the L-Carnosine, even though initially you would think more all working together is bound to be better!

Will definately keep clear of the Milk Thistle now, and stick with my otherwise very successful l-carnosine solution

Will keep you informed how I progress

Cheers,

Andy
